Thank you for asking! Our WUNDA® variants have different amounts of sugar: WUNDA® Chocolate has 5.4g per 100ml, WUNDA® Original has only 2.3g per 100ml which makes it 'Low in sugar', and obviously our WUNDA® Unsweetened has 0g per 100mL which makes it sugar free!

WUNDA® is made from the lovely, tiny and surprisingly healthy, yellow split pea. It's extremely rich of protein and an official member of the legume family that's known for its famous lentils.

When developing WUNDA® we’ve experimented with all sorts of plants and materials but besides stardust (which is pretty impossible to get), yellow split peas turned out to be the best option. They’re extremely nutritious and surprisingly good for the planet. In addition, yellow split peas have the unique power to help fix nitrogen from the atmosphere and therefore reduce the need for nitrogen fertilizer and associated greenhouse gasses. So they’re good for your body and very good for the soil and planet that body exists on.

Surprisingly our peas don't come from very far (if you live in Europe though). If you thought Belgium is famous for its chocolate and France is famous for its wine and cheese, better think again. These two Wunda®-ful countries are about to get famous for their yellow peas as well!

Just like the original producers of milk (cows), we too like to mix natural flavours to create a perfect, creamy, milky taste. But while cows only have to graze and moo, we take our production process to another (natural) level. Using flavouring substances from natural materials obtained by distillation or extraction.

The cacao we use comes from all over the world though 70% of it was produced in West Afrika (Ivory Coast, Ghana, Nigeria and Cameroon). The other 30% comes from a long list of countries including Kenya, Indonesia, Mlaysia, Peru, Dominican Republic and Ecuador.

But assuming you're not drinking from a fishbowl but prefer a normal 200ml glass, one serving of WUNDA® Original or Unsweetened offers 30% of your Recommended Dietary Allowance of B12, B2, D and Ca. And if you're going for a slightly larger 230ml glass with WUNDA® Chocolate, one serving serves you 34% of your Recommended Dietary Allowance.

Important questions deserve thorough answers! As you probably know, WUNDA® is made of yellow split peas. But our peas’ trip from the field to your glass crosses many, many stages... After we’ve selected the best peas in the field and we dried and split them, they are mixed with sunflower oil, fibers, salts, vitamins and a precisely measured amount of water. Next on the todo list is an important process called UHT. By heating our mixture we kill all the harmful, unhealthy microorganisms in our blend leaving a healthy and shelf stable beverage. After our drink is cooled-down to ambient temperature we pour it in its iconic, carton WUNDA® pack, ready to be shipped to your cupboard and refrigerator.

Yes they sure are! All our packaging is designed to be fully recyclable. So there's a good chance your newly bought packs are made of many older packs. Wunda®-ful isn't it?

Thanks for asking, we always get proud when someone asks us about our carbon neutrality! Our claim is actually certified by an external trusted third party called Carbon Trust. We joined forces to measure our greenhouse gas emissions across our entire value chain, built an action plan to keep reducing our carbon footprint, and offset the remaining emissions by purchasing quality carbon credits. To give you an example, we have invested in a forest protection project in Cambodia which is both Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) and Climate, Community and Biodiversity (CCB) standard approved. How cool is that! We really want WUNDA® to contribute to a more sustainable future so we believe it's important to work with certified external experts to save the planet together, one glass at a time!

Good question! We don’t offset our emissions via Carbon Trust but chose to work with South Pole (www.southpole.com). By keeping our certification and offset separate, we avoid any conflict of interest so we can focus on our Wunda®-ful products and continue to innovate the way we make 'm.

WUNDA® is best stored in a warm and satisfied belly. But if you're not that thirsty you can store it both chilled and at room-temperature. After opening the pack though, we advice you to drink WUNDA® Original & Unsweetened 950ml within 5 days, WUNDA® Original 500ml within 3 days and WUNDA® Chocolate within one day, if kept refrigerated. Oh, and don't forget to shake it!
